The frame is in cleft and whittled oak from Sizergh Castle (NT) near Kendal.
The cotton panels are dyed with oak bark from the same tree. (The soft brown colour is fixed with alum. The oak leaves are iron mordant screen print)

Blackberry Dye

Blackberry natural dye products are exclusively displayed at the Farfield Mill, EQUINOX exhibition.
(The exhibition open from 9th September to 8th November)
Blackberry dye colour --- Pink with alum / Blue Grey with iron

Dandelion and Buttercup Dye

Dandelion flower heads are good source of dye.It makes pale yellow with alum and yellow green with copper..
Buttercup flower also makes yellow (orange) with alum.

Natural Dye and Organic screen print

TADesign pursues environmentally friendly technique for textile design.
It currently uses natural dye from local sources,
employing organic screen printing  for own textile designs.
